At Alexandra Dental Care we pride ourselves on the happy and friendly atmosphere the staff create. We believe that our staff are a valuable asset and they regularly attend courses and team building events. All staff are well trained, qualified and up to date on all the latest techniques. All the surgery teams are registered with the General Dental Council. You will find our team always friendly, reassuring and efficient but most importantly approachable.

Yogi Savania qualified in Leeds in 1989, and worked in practice in Derby before coming to Swadlincote in 1996.

George Savva graduated from the Royal London Hospital in December 1990 and has spent all his working life as a General Dental Practitioner in Derbyshire, firstly as an Associate and then as a Principal at Alexandra Dental Care with Yogesh Savania since 1996.

Dentist Jag Chohan

Jag Chohan graduated at the University of Leeds, where he carried out his training for Bachelor of dental surgery (BChD).
Jag's interests within dentistry include, cosmetic dentistry, in particular (white) restorations. Outside of dentistry, Jag enjoys football, especially playing five a side.
He is also a keen golfer. His aims are to provide a high quality of care for all patients, in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Dentist Baldeep Jalf

Baldeep graduated in 2010 and has worked in Yorkshire and the Midlands. Bal is fond of the restorative aspect of dentistry and has completed a post graduate certificate in restorative dentistry.
Bal is kept very busy by his twins outside of the practice. While being a foodie he enjoys experimenting when cooking. He loves keeping fit and active through the gym and Thai boxing.

Dental Hygienist - Helen Ward
CEB Cert in Dental Hygiene 1990, Manchester
Since qualifying as a hygienist at Manchester Dental School in December 1990, Helen has gained experience in hospitals, NHS and private practice.
Since joining our team in 1996 she has been developing the preventative side of the practice and has enjoyed improving peoples dental health.
Helen lives locally with her husband and two young sons.

Dental Hygienist - Anita Kedziorek
Dip Dental Hygiene 2012 Poland
Anita graduated as a Hygienist from Medical School in Olsztyn, Poland in 2012.
Prior to this Anita has worked as a Dental/Implant Nurse in Dental Practices in both Newbury and Sheffield.
Anita really enjoys her work as a Hygienist and looking after our patient’s oral hygiene. She also likes to ensure that patients have enough knowledge about oral hygiene so they can continue with this at home.
Anita lives in Littleover, Derby with her husband and two young children. She enjoys travelling, cooking and the theatre.
