I would like to introduce myself…

My name is Scarlet; I am the practice treatment co-ordinator for teeth straightening treatments here at Alexandra dental Care. I have been working at the practice almost 4 years now and thoroughly enjoy my role.

I qualified as a dental nurse from the Royal Derby Hospital in November 2011 and I have worked in many different areas of dentistry since then. I have taken a particular interest in tooth straightening treatments, I work alongside dentist Yogi Savania who carries out the treatment at our practice. Over the past few years I have attended courses and gained knowledge and experience in various removable adult braces, the main one being Inman Aligner and Invisalign, both of which we offer here at Alexandra Dental Care.

My role as treatment co-ordinator is to be the first port of call for people enquiring about adult orthodontics. I explain the procedures and what it entails. I show past cases that we have done and testimonials from patients who have been through treatment with us. I am able answer questions and elevate concerns, I can even offer payment plans which help patients spread the cost of treatment.

I assist Yogi through a patient’s treatment and make sure that it runs smoothly, liasing with our laboratories and arranging appointments. Most of the patients get to know me well and it is nice for them to be able to call the practice and know that I am personally available to help.

I thoroughly enjoy my role as I get to see the transformation…not only of patient’s smiles but of their confidence and wellbeing that comes from having a smile that they have always wanted.

To be a part of helping someone improve their life is an absolute pleasure.
