Yogi Savania qualified in Leeds in 1989, and worked in practice in Derby before coming to Swadlincote in 1996.

Dentist George Savva
George Savva graduated from the Royal London Hospital in December 1990.
He completed his postgraduate Vocational Training Year from 1991-1992 in Derby and has spent all his working life as a General Dental Practitioner in Derbyshire, firstly as an Associate and then as a Principal at Alexandra Dental Care with Yogesh Savania since 1996.

Dentist Meera Karia
Meera lives locally and gained her BDS qualifications at the University of Manchester. Her special interests include treating children and cosmetic dentistry.
Meera is currently studying hard to become a Member of the Joint Dental Faculty. In her spare time Meera enjoys travelling and particularly liked carrying out voluntary work in Vietnam where she treated young orphaned patients.
She is also an avid keep fit fan enjoying running, and the gym.
Dentist Jag Chohan
Jag Chohan graduated at the University of Leeds, where he carried out his training for Bachelor of dental surgery (BChD).
Jag's interests within dentistry include, cosmetic dentistry, in particular (white) restorations.
Outside of dentistry, Jag enjoys football, especially playing five a side. He is also a keen golfer.
His aims are to provide a high quality of care for all patients, in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Dentist Yasminder Virdee
Yasminder joins us from Leicester after recently graduating at Sheffield University.
Yasminder particularly enjoys working with anxious patients and helping them through their dental treatment. She loves to see a happy patient walking out of the practice with restored confidence.
In her spare time Yasminder loves cooking with her family, enjoys a hand in interior design along with exotic travels across the globe.
Dental Hygienist - Helen Ward
Since qualifying as a hygienist at Manchester Dental School in December 1990, Helen has gained experience in hospitals, NHS and private practice.
Since joining our team in 1996 she has been developing the preventative side of the practice and has enjoyed improving peoples dental health. Helen lives locally with her husband and two young sons.
Dental Hygienist - Vicky Gopsill
Vicky has worked in the field of dentistry for 18 years starting as a dental nurse in Burton through to qualifying from Birmingham dental hospital as a hygienist in June 2003.
Vicky has lived in Swadlincote for the past 5years with her partner and enjoys running, reading and socialising with friends and family.
She enjoys meeting new people, helping people with their dental treatment needs and working in a team and hopes to work alongside Helen in furthering the good work the practice carries out in preventative dentistry and promoting good oral health.
